Acts 1:3

"To whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during the forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God"

Luke say that the disciples were eyewitnesses to all that had happened to Jesus Christ. The disciples knew Jesus life before his crucifixion, and the 40 days after his resurrection. Jesus taught them more about the kingdom of God. Jesus appeared to the disciples on many occasions after his resurrection, proving that he was alive.

Read Cross-Reference Scriptures

Matthew 28:16-20

Mark 16:9-19

Luke 24:36-40

John 20:24-29

1 Corinthians 15:3-9

John 21:1-4, 14

The infallible proofs is that Jesus was alive (he walked with disciples, talked with them, and drank with them). The marks of the wounds in Jesus' hands, feet, and side was the utmost proof.

After Jesus death, the disciples had scattered and feared for their lives. After seeing the resurrection of Christ, they became fearless and risked everything to spread the Good news about Jesus around the world. They faced imprisonment, beating, rejection, and martyr (killed) for their faith, yet never compromised their mission.

The apostles as well as other followers of Christ would not have risked and give for something they knew was a fraud. The apostles knew Jesus was alive!

The "kingdom of God" of which Jesus taught His disciples was probably refers to God's rule , including His rule over the church, and Jesus future kingdom when He return.

When Jesus returned to heaven, God's kingdom would remain in the hearts of all believers through the presence of the Holy Spirit. The apostles work to spread God's kingdom across the world.
